In which I return from Louisville

1.
I'm back from Louisville and happy to report that this year's Reading went well. I was a Table Leader for the first time this year, and I read a bazillion student essays (give or take) written in response to Thomas Paine's characterization of American in Rights of Man.

2.
I did a bit of running while I was up there. I've run every year at the Reading, but this was the first year that I ran every day.

All said, I ran somewhere around 65 miles in Louisville, and along the way, I met a few great folks.

3.
The food was terrible. It was, without question, the worst food I've had at any of the Readings.

4.
Who puts tuna salad as the main item on the vegetarian menu? And the other meals weren't much better. I'd rate one of my meals as "adequate," while all of the others were far worse.

5.
Now, I'm back, and we're getting ready to move.
