I got a copy of the first print issue of The Corduroy Mtn. in the mail today.
I'm delighted, not only because the work in there is great, but also because Carl makes such wonderful chapbooks.
(I'm going to resist the urge to start writing about the poems in there, but I can't help myself from saying that I really dig the ones by Peter Berghoef and Brooklyn Copeland.)
Holding this in my hand makes me even more excited that he's going to be printing my chap later this year.
In other news, the wasp that invaded this morning appears to be (a) hiding out or (b) running scared.
I'm hoping it's (b), but if it's (a), he'd better be ready. Because I'm bringing it.
