Many thanks are due from me to Justin Evans and his outstanding online journal, Hobble Creek Review.
My poem "Where It's Likely To Go Better" just received one of HCR's nominations for the 2011 Pushcart Prize. I'm very happy to be in such fine company--HCR's nominations this year also include work by Angie Macri, Jason Irwin, Rachel Bunting, Ryan Holden, and Jeff Newberry. I'm especially pleased to have my name alongside Jeff's, not only because our MA programs overlapped at West Florida but also because he's a heck of a nice guy and a heck of a writer.
If you're so inclined, you can read my poem at HCR and then listen to Nic Sebastian's reading of it at Whale Sound.
