It's Saturday

1.
I spent most of the afternoon nursing a cup of coffee and proofing the forthcoming issue of Willows Wept Review. I'm really excited and grateful to get to read such great work.

2.
The first quarter ended this week at school. I know it's a feeling that will soon end, but it feels like there's a little space to breathe, so I'm enjoying it, even if it's only for a moment.

3.
There are some cool things happening over at Vouched.

4.
Three of the last five weeks, I've run in the mid-twenties. I'm starting to feel like a runner again.

5.
Now, I have to resist the urge to jump to the mid-thirties too quickly. I know how that ends: illness, injury.

6.
But still, it's so tough not to run when you start to feel fit again.

7.
We saw Azure Ray last week at The Social. They were good, but the best part was discovering Dead Fingers, a new band made up of Taylor Hollingsworth and Kate Taylor.
