On Parent Conferences

On Friday afternoon, we had parent conferences at school, and I wanted to mention this. I didn't include it in Friday's bit, though, because that post was titled "In Which I Say Five, Make That Six, Things about Today That Might Be Slightly Impolite." Adding one more thing would have made it seven. And I don't think that this thing is in any way impolite.

Anyway, here's the thing. Parent conferences are always better when you're brutally honest. And I mean brutally. Honest.

I'm not sure if I should write, "Not only are they more productive, but they're more interesting," or if I should write, "Not only are they more interesting, but they're more productive." But either way.

Probably, that's true about more things than just parent conferences.
