Yesterday, it finally came.You know what they say: the third time is the charm, and it took all three attempts for FedEx Home Delivery to get it here.
I'm hoping that after three attempts pulling a shot of espresso, I'll finally get it right, too. Last night, I set the machine up, filled it with water, primed the pump, ground the beans, and was a little disappointed in the results. A little too watery for my taste, but I'll try a little more coffee and a slightly finer grind later this afternoon and see what happens.

Have you tried foaming milk yet? The fear of a wimpy steaming wand keeps me from buying a machine of my own.

The steaming wand (some sort of patented thing by Saeco) is quite nice.
It's a bit easier (for those of us who might lose patience and stop steaming too early) with a thermometer. But the milk turns out just as you'd hope.
